Lockerstash is one of the first ever sustainable sportswear charities, spreading themselves across all grassroots sport to educate clubs, charities, sports manufacturers and schools about environmental issues surrounding producing new sportswear and sports equipment. They engage clubs in signing the Lockerstash Sustainability Acknowledgement Agreement, getting clubs to work alongside them to combat the problem as a whole helping whilst helping them offset their own environmental issues.

At Karuta we are committed to working with Lockerstash by giving them all our old samples and stock. We unlike other sportswear providers do not send any garments to landfill. Karuta is also very proud to offer football kits and some training wear made from fully recyclable material. We are working with our manufacturing partners to increase our usage of recycled material.
